So long 2012, Hello 13!

I had a great 2012 and just wanted to say thanks to all of you who’ve supported my art over the years, and to all the new folks who came around this year. You guys are the best.

Below is a quick snapshot of my best instagrams from each month of the year. I threw in a few extras too.

Best of 2012

I got soooo much done this year it’s hard for me to imagine getting any more done this next year, but here’s my plans:

- Deliver the Kickstarter orders
- Draw another children’s book
- Draw another short comic story
- SPACESKULL comics and prints
- Put out a new sketch collection
- Teach a class at BYU
- Fill up 6 sketchbooks (only did 3 last year)

I think that’s it. What’s on your plate for 2013?

New Stuff in the Shop!

I put a bunch of new stuff up in the shop just in time for Christmas! Let me tell you a little about each one.

First, these Santa cards I’ll only have up for the next week. My wife and I sent these out last year and everyone loved them. Order them quick so you can get them sent off to your friends and fam!

Because the folks on twitter demanded it I now have Leonardo in the shop. You can now have the eldest brother of the Ninja Turtles lead and inspire you from your wall!

MINI PRINTS! Mix and match, order one, or all of them. They were a big hit at CTN this year.

Tattoo Bot, for that friend who loves robots AND tattoos!

And Harry and Hedwig:

Go check out the online shop, and don’t forget about Spacecave and Spaceskull too!

CTN-X See You There!

Hey folks, this weekend I’ll be at the Creative Talent Network Animation Expo aka CTN-X. This is one of the greatest shows to attend because:

A) It’s  in Burbank in November (no snow!)

B) It’s a magnet for the best artists in animation, video games, and comics, and

C) It’s not too big.

That last one makes a huge difference. You can cover the whole floor in a couple hours and see and meet everyone you want with out having to wait in long lines or getting shoved around.

I’ll have a table and will be selling lots of prints, books, and original drawings! So come by and say hi and pick something up. Short list of my inventory:

The Antler Boy and Other Stories (my printer air mailed me 50 advanced copies!)
SPACECAVE ONE
Spaceskull: The Lucky Star Prints
Missile Mouse Books
And all kinds of other prints not available in my store!
Original Art
And I’ll be doing commissions too!

I’ll also be leading a round table discussion about Kickstarter with 3 of my good friends, Jed Henry and Dave and Greg of CreatureBox. Details:

Title: How to Run a Successful Kickstarter Campaign
Day: 11/18/12
Time: 12:30 PM    1:15 PM
Location: CTN East Tent Seating 200

Spaceskull: The Lucky Star

I really love this character. I’ve been drawing him in my sketchbook for the better part of this year and I finally decided to do a comic with him. I’ll be working on it off and on and am planning on delivering the first installment Feburaryish. In the meantime I made this poster image.

You can order a print of it in my ONLINE SHOP. I’ll also be bringing some of these with me to CTN-X next week.
