I put a bunch of new stuff up in the shop just in time for Christmas! Let me tell you a little about each one.
First, these Santa cards I’ll only have up for the next week. My wife and I sent these out last year and everyone loved them. Order them quick so you can get them sent off to your friends and fam!

Saw the trailer for Rise of the Guardians before Wreck-it Ralph. When the tattoo’d Santa came on the screen I immediately thought “Grrr. They ripped-off Jake Parker”
Do you mind sharing who you use for printing these awesome illustrations? Any comment on their ability to get color accuracy?
They are all done in-house on an 8 color Epson printer using UltraChrome K3TM Ink Technology. They look amazing in person. You should stop by some night and print something.
please don’t take this as criticism or accusation, but how are you able to sell art of other peoples licensed characters? i’ve been interested in doing similar things in the past, but always assumed i could not profit from others creations? again, just curious, i’m a huge fan of your work!
I’m not sure where the line is drawn, but if it’s art you created, and they’re prints made by you then most companies let slide, that’s if they even hear about you. Since I’m not selling backpacks and lunchboxes of the characters in mass quantities I don’t think I’m seen as any sort of threat. Though, I have heard of a few people who were selling a lot of star wars prints getting a cease and desist letter. That said, I’d probably only feel good doing this with heavily established characters. I wouldn’t try to make a dime off of an independent creator’s characters.
I haven’t done a lot of homework on this, but it’s a good question, and probably one I should ask a lawyer about.
