Wanted to update you on Antler Boy progress. First off, here’s the beginning of the new Hugo Earhart story. Starting things off a little slow, I know, but it gets pretty exciting later on.

One of the big parts of this project (and frankly, bigger than I realized) is coloring up the stories that I had originally only done in B&W. This has been the bulk of my art chores since finishing the drawings for both Spacecave and Hugo. Luckily I was able to enlist the help of several former students of mine who were more than willing to freelance on the project by laying in flat colors. That helped a ton, thanks guys!
Below is a quick screen grab of all these stories so you can get a feel of what this book is going to look like. (click to view a little bigger)
That’s it for now. Have a great Friday everyone!

congrats on completely mowing your Kickstarter goal away! Looks like it’s going to be a great book!
oh… and mowing something away is a cross between blowing said thing away and mowing the aforementioned thing down…. oops, I mean, now you know.
