It’s been two weeks since Antler Boy closed. I took a little time to recuperate, got my studio in order (it got pretty messy), and got back to work on getting this book finished.
Secret of the Spacecave: Part I
Here’s the first installment of The Secret of the Spacecave, the concluding story inĀ The Antler Boy and other Stories. The finished color is being worked on as we speak and will be published in the book, but I thought these black, white and purple pages looked pretty good, so I’m posting them for you to see here.
Hugo Earhart: An Honest Day’s Work
That’s the title for the new Hugo story. I’ve finished thumbnailing it out and I really like it. It’s in the same vein as the first story, with Hugo asked to deliver an important parcel. I’ll post up artwork from that as it nears completion.
Antler Boy Progress
The rest of the book is shaping up. The pages are getting flat colors laid in by an army of 13 former students of mine. After which I’ll go in and shade, light and add effects to the panels. I’m finalizing the paperwork with the printer and am shooting to have the files delivered to them by mid June.
Ok, that’s it. Have a great week.
